Getting Ready To Book a Disney Trip!

Thinking about going to Disney? I can help!

Follow these planning steps to help make getting you to the land of Mouse a lot easier!

Decide when you want to go. The best time to go to Disney is ANYTIME it works for your family! With year round events and celebrations there really isn’t a bad time to go!

That said, there are some times that will be even more crowded than normal (Christmas to New Years being some of the busiest days). This isn’t a terrible thing but will take some planning to make the most of your time there so you’ll for sure want to have me help pixie dust your trip!

Another consideration is the weather. If you’re not a fan of the heat and rain, you may want to consider the winter/early spring months.

Finally, the cost. Resort and even ticket prices can vary throughout the year. Historically, Disney offers deals in January (a lower crowd month) and September (sometimes stormy month) but other offers may pop up as well.

Look at Flights. It’s good to have an idea of flight prices for your desired trip dates. I like to use Google Flights to see which dates are cheaper and then put my desired dates into the Hopper app for notifications of when those prices drop. Flying into Orlando International (MCO) is recommended as Magical Express bus service will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at your resort for free! They also deliver any checked bags to your resort.

Fill out the pre-planning form. This form helps us get started in finding out what the best options for your family are. Use as much detail as you can. Let me know how you family likes to travel!

Schedule a plan to go call. It isn’t necessary but I’ve found setting up a time to chat (usually via a phone call) is the best at helping me get to know what your needs are and what will work for your family. I use the pre-planning form to come up with some ideas for you then we chat about those to narrow down the plans.

Review your destination quotes and choose the best fit. I’ll narrow it down to three resort options and send you a price quote. We can save one of these on a hold for three days before deposit is due.

Pay your deposit. Disney requires a $200 deposit (subject to change) to book your room plus tickets package. If you choose trip insurance, Disney insurance is also due at this time.

Get ready for the magic! I’ll be walking you through every step of the way as we get you ready for your magical vacation! It will be almost as much fun as being at the castle itself (okay… maybe not THAT fun but I’ll definitely make it easy on you!). :)

FAQ

I booked with someone else or through Disney. Can you still help me?

Of course! If you booked directly through Disney within the last 30 days we can request Disney change your reservation to me. If it’s been more than 30 days, let me know and we can look at another option for you! You can add my Pixie Dust services to your already booked trip for a fee.

How many days should we stay?

This is of course a personal preference and varies by family. Things to consider? Is this your once in a lifetime Disney trip or will you be back? Disney can be a great long weekend getaway or an amazing 7-10 day vacation. I would say to visit every park you should do at least 4 park days. To get more out of your trip, I like 6 park days with a resort day in between.

Do you plan everything for me?

I sure can! Most resort plus ticket packages (minimum 3 night stay + 3 day park hopper tickets) include the “Pixie Dust that Trip” plan! If your package doesn’t include this service, you can add it on for a small fee. Ask for details!

What can you book for me?

I can book resorts, theme park tickets, dining plans, memory maker, travel insurance, summer one world, disney after hours, NBA experience, H2O glow nights, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party, Very Merry Christmas party, VIP Tours (highly recommended for a luxe Disney experience!), and more! I can even book your 2+ day tickets to Universal Studios.
